Stephen Jones spring/summer 2022 collection

Presented during London Fashion Week September 2021 at Dover Street Market, London W1.

Entitled ‘Bonnes Vacances’, the new collection whisks us off to the coastline of France, to the beautiful summer beaches and the grand elegant houses.

First to the sandy beaches where we find feminine caps and metallic straw visors.

Stephen wears an 'A Geometric Trilby' with bugle beads & veiling

Then to the museum of Christian Dior at Granville in Normandy, into the house, through the fragrant gardens and onto the balcony where Stephen sits with Brigitte Richard, Directrice des Musées Granville, wearing his asymmetric boater, enjoying the beautiful views across the bay.

To a world that is feminine, light and playful the collection gives a nod to French cuisine with the style “salad chapeau”

Then to a beautiful garden in Nice where a young girl wears a straw topper adorned with cascading flowers and streamers. Finally as a nod to the blue waters of southern France, her companion wears the ‘snorkel mask’, millinery made from straw and chenille.

Oh to be there, in that world !!
